Heart Made Whole
Heart Made WholeTurning Your Unhealed Pain into Your Greatest Strength
By Christa Black Gifford
The author begins the book with the experience of expecting a childgoing through all those life-changing motions…only to be rather negatively surprised by what follows.
This was a difficult book for me to read, as it resonated only too well with my life. The author truly has a gift in writing, the ability to draw readers in.
I like how the author shares candidly from her life, then invites us to reflect on our own lives. From the questions presented at the end of every chapter, readers are able to reflect on their lives, drawing lessons from what the author has shared. Readers can then tackle their issues with a sense of empowermenthope, having learned from the author’s life.
I like the fact that the author has written from a biblical perspective,so the readers are led to relate with Godseek Him for their own healing.
This would make a great book for a ladies’ bible study group or book reading club.
