The Sticky Faith Guide for Your Family – Dr. Kara E. Powell

In this book, Dr. Powell shares over 100 practicaltested ideas to build lasting faith in kids. She begins by showing the importance of faith in kids, how it can be built right from the foundation of the family. She shows how this can be done from when they are very little, how it can continue to be done as they grow up into adulthood. The impact of parents’ actions is portrayed as one that has great meaningconsequence. I enjoyed the stories that she shares from many families.

After thorough research, Dr. Powell shares her findings in a clearsimple manner, encourages readers to take some of themput them into action. Not all of them, certainly not many of them at a go. Just one or two, then those can be added to slowly by slowly.

As a parent, I first felt daunted by the task, but along the way, I was encouraged that I was doing some things right. And I got more ideas of things I could do at my current children’s ages, even later on as they continue to grow. This is a book I will definitely be reading overover again,I highly recommend it to all the parents out there.
