I trust that the you have been well.
The Amazing Girl Ministry has been well too, carrying on our purpose of encouraging girls to find their worth and purpose in God through mentoring via social media, one-on-one and group interactions.
On the 17th of August, we shall visit the Vumilia Youth Group IDP Camp again, this time to be part of their Talent Show. There will be singing, dancing and modeling, and they have asked me to speak to them, once again. It would be good to take some sanitary towels to them and I hope we can partner once again and share God’s love in this way. They may be about 100 girls this time, since there will be girls visiting from other camps in the area.
If you would still like to contribute to this, you can do so in various ways.
- Prayer and moral support
- Coming along so that you meet the girls and encourage them in person
- Contributing financially towards the purchase of the sanitary towels. The Mpesa number is 0723285236. (After the mission, you will receive a report of how the money will be spent)
Here’s a link to the video from last visit. http://gallery.mailchimp.com/
We also plan to have a Swimming Party in Thika, should the sun come back up! If it’ll still be cold, we’ll find an alternative party, but we shall still meet and have some fun, insightful time together with those lovely high-school and college girls, sharing experiences and the bigger girls mentoring their younger amazing sisters.
You are welcome to email me with your thoughts and what you’d like to share, as well as any questions you may have regarding the above or about having a session with us.
May God continue to bless you and meet all your needs.
