Don’t judge a book…

October 10, 2009 Uncategorized 0

As an ardent reader, I’ve come across the phrase “don’t judge a book by its cover” quite a number of times. I must confess though, that on occasion, I do just that. I pick up a book read its back cover, go over its contents, put it back down.
It could have quite some good content, but really, it did not appeal t me in light of what I was seeking. I think it happens the same way with us. We may have good “content” on the inside of us, but depending on how we “package” ourselves, we are either picked upread, or dismissedput back on the shelf.
No doubt some really good books could be left out, but don’t you think with improved “packaging” of ourselves, we could stand a better chance with more opportunities that come our way? If we really are that good a read, I suppose an attempt to project outwardly who we are on the inside will be a good boost for us.
