Judgement

October 1, 2009 Uncategorized 0

I’ve been to meetings where reports were to be given on those days. Not very big meeting, I say, but pretty important as well. Some people had their reports, up to date, some had a lot of, “soso meant to give me this or the other,” “I intended to….” And such were usually cut short, chances given to others who were ready, who seemingly had better to offer.
Of course this felt bad, especially when their colleagues left the meetings appraised or promoted, they (who had been cut short) with many regrets. I imagine the last judgment day to be much tougher than this. And especially so because this would be the very final judgment, without any other chances, our eternal fate would be determined then. Undoable.
I don’t know about you, but I want to do my work well each time, especially keeping my relationship with Jesus up to dateliving His purpose.
