After washing dishes, it was now time to go aheadcook. As I was getting the utensils I was to use ready, I noticed that I preferred to use what I had just recently personally washed, in preference to what had already been on the shelves awhile. This is because I was sure of their freshnesscleanliness, seeing as I had worked on them insideout, they were up to my par,so I was confident in them.
I thought maybe that’s how it is with God. He’d like to work with those vessels on which He’s already worked on, because He has, so to say, quality assurance. So if we want God to work withthrough us, we have got to let Him work inon us first…else He wouldn’t trust us for His purposes, certainly not for His greater works. I tend to think this is true because of how strongly I experienced that, the bible tells me that we are made in the image of God.
